I think that shared serwers are good for a start. When u get more and more visitors to yours site, 500+ a day, Than you should buy dedicated serwer for your site.

I'm launcing new BANS type site, it's only generate 40 visitor per day on average - Jewelry Niche. I didn't think of switching my hosting to dedicated server, exept i have 500+ a day and $5+ / day from this site.
I would agree too.Shared servers are really the way to go.I think gaming sites need it more than anything in case they go viral.
