It doesn’t take a genius to watch the news and realise that breaking and entering is an all time high, the highest growth rate is happening in businesses around the world. The places were items of very high financial value might be. A common saying is prevention is the best cure, and I am going to look into ways to put this into practice. I’m going to review some of the best technology available for making sure everything is safe and secure!

The obvious thing that comes to mind is CCTV surveillance. This would be a deterrent for anyone trying to break in to a business. But there are ways around this, simply tracking the source of power or just wearing a balaclava or hood.

Alarm fittings? I still have one off these even in my home. But this won’t totally prevent crime it will just put criminals off. There is ways to get around alarms just by making sure your careful.

Get roller shutters fitted in front of your doors. It only takes a bit of force to break a lock. What do top companies such as jewellers do? They get roller shutters fitted. And they don’t even have to ruin your shop front, with a range of colours and designed they could fit any business.

In entirety I recommend all the above, the best way to protect possessions is to ensure all areas are covered.
