erm.. can you show me how to edit a registry on vista?
Hurdle in editing registry may be openinging registry editor in Vista.
Click Start Button
In start Search enter REmote Registry Editor.
after opening remote registry editor you are asked for devices
simply cancel that box and you can access the registry of your PC as that of Win-XP
thanks for shring.. i m vista user.. and i hate vista.
you DICK there it a better way simply press the Win key; type cmd; press Ctrl+Shift+Enter; and then hit Alt+C to confirm (you may have to input a password)
Here's another way:
1)Open Wordpad
2)Enter the text "start" (without the quotation marks)
3)save the file as whatever you feel like calling it, just make it say .bat at the end
(save it to your desktop for easy access.)
Note:
however many times you entered start in the word pad, it will open command prompt many times.
